The story

CIMPLASTA was founded in 1963 by Mr.Mario Rossi.

After a long experience matured since 1944 in other firms and thaking to a long time spent as a director in plants of thermosetting composistions (the main was the Italian Resins Society), Mr Rossi choice the way to work himself. The first activity was in the sector of thermosetting compositions and glass fiber articles.

The main intuition was the employement of thermoplastic raw materials, indeed no widepreaded. His choice see the actual production moulded in thermoplastic materials, that are now our core business.

From the first small plant to now many steps have been done, beeing able to supply our customer with not only a modern press park, but also with an activity of co-design.

Flexibility and capacity to advice our customers are the main point on which we had and we will work, having in our minds that these are components of our strategic vision. We want to improve ourself but also thanking to our customers.

The management

Mr Paolo Rossi manage the external relation with our customers, either for thecnical and commercial matters. The capacity to supply an integrated service grant to our customer to have anwer when they are asked.

Mr Claudio Rossi follow the thecnical area and the production, thanking to a consolidated experience in the sector since he was a studend.

The plant

Our acitivity is located in Vergiate, a country next to Major Lake and Malpensa' airport (chart).

The total covered surface is about 9,000 m²,  3,200 of which are covered.

The press park is formed by 23 press, from 400 to 4000 kN.

Machines are always upgraded and substituted. The medium age of our press do not get over 8 years, being the rotation tax of 2.75 press/year.
